Facebook wins preliminary approval in 'View As' data breach litigation

When Facebook announced in 2018 that hackers had exploited a software vulnerability to expose the personal information of tens of millions of users, regulators and politicians pounced on another data protection failure by the company just months after the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal broke.
