Facebook sued in Texas by AG Paxton for alleged biometric privacy violations

Facebook parent Meta Platform is facing a state lawsuit filed by the Texas attorney general today alleging the social-media company’s facial recognition tools, now discontinued, violated the state’s biometric privacy law.
