Facebook fined 6.6 million reais in Brazilian data breach probe

Facebook was fined 6.6 million reais ($1.29 million) today by the Brazilian consumer protection authority for its involvement in a data breach linked to Cambridge Analytica.
The National Consumer Secretariat, or Senacon, in 2019 imposed the same fine amount on Facebook (see here), but cancelled that decision to fix a procedural
