Facebook appeals privacy sanction by South Korean regulator, faces criminal probe by police

Facebook has appealed the fine imposed by the South Korean privacy regulator for illegally sharing the data of South Koran users to third-party applications, and is also facing a criminal investigation by the South Korean police following a referral by the privacy regulator which accuses the social media giant of interfering
