Expert witnesses for Epic Games, Google take stand as US app store antitrust trial continues

Google erected a thicket of artificial hurdles and “scary” warnings about apps from sources other than the Google Play store that purported to protect Android users but were calibrated to hamper competing app stores like Amazon’s, a federal jury heard today as Epic Games pressed its antitrust case in San Francisco.
