Ex-HSBC forex boss's fraud conviction should be thrown out, lawyers tell US Supreme Court

HSBC's former head of foreign exchange cash trading, Mark Johnson, shouldn't have been convicted of fraud over his role in a contentious $3.5 billion forex transaction, his lawyers told the US Supreme Court, arguing that prosecutors have stretched the fraud law to criminalize legal conduct.
