Ex-Barbados cabinet minister's US corruption conviction can stand, judge finds

The corruption conviction of former Barbados cabinet minister Donville Inniss can stand, a US judge said, rejecting a request to throw the case out. 

A jury was given sufficient evidence to convict Inniss, Barbados' minister of industry from 2013 to 2018, US District Judge Kiyo Matsumoto said in an order published today.
