EV charging opens new world of retail tie-ins, UK industry figures say

Shell and Volkswagen are among companies looking to link electric-vehicle charging with retail outlets to exploit changing consumer behavior patterns associated with the wait time for recharging, their senior executives said today.

The trend is set to spark increasing complexity in regulating the emerging electric-vehicle charging industry as operators look to build partnerships
