European Parliament committees fight for control of EU's Media Freedom Act

A fight has broken out in the European Parliament over which lawmakers should handle new draft rules on media freedom, MLex has learned, meaning the new law could face a complicated and laborious legislative process.

After the European Media Freedom Act was proposed by the European Commission on Sept. 16
