EU-US ‘green’ steel and aluminum deal may require mandate from EU governments

The European Commission may ask EU governments for negotiating instructions to conclude a deal with the US on the trade of “green” steel and aluminum, MLex has learned.
Talks that started a few months ago have stalled over significant differences in approach between Brussels and Washington.
