EU tools for trans-Atlantic data flows ready in 'coming weeks,' Jourová says

EU companies should receive updated international data-transfer tools “in the coming weeks” after the European Commission sought to smooth over differences with European data protection authorities on how to safeguard data exports from government surveillance, Věra Jourová said today.

Matthew Newman is a chief correspondent for MLex and writes about data protection, privacy, telecoms, cyber security and artificial intelligence.
