EU steelmakers need cheap power, priority hydrogen access to decarbonize, Eurofer deputy says

Steelmakers should have cheap electricity and priority access to hydrogen, the deputy director general of the European steel lobby told MLex in an interview.
“What we are missing is a sense of prioritizing these alternative energy sources in sectors where we have higher abatement potential,” Eurofer’s Adolfo Aiello said.
