EU signs Egypt-Israel LNG supply deal to help cut off Russian energy

The EU today signed a deal with Egypt and Israel to ship in liquefied natural gas in an effort to move away from the use of Russian fossil fuels — and said it could be precursor to greater cooperation on renewable energy sources.
