EU shouldn't rely only on US to replace Russian gas imports, Commission official says

The EU shouldn't rely only on the US to end its dependence on Russian energy, a senior European Commission official has said, days after the two signed a major LNG supply deal aimed at helping the EU to reduce its Russian gas imports.
