EU’s foreign-subsidies control will be ‘fair’ in light of state aid tweaks, Vestager says

The European Commission has the “obligation to be fair” when enforcing its upcoming instrument to tackle distortive foreign subsidies at a time when the bloc is also loosening its state aid rules, the EU’s competition chief Margrethe Vestager said today.
