EU’s economic security shouldn’t be confused with its competitiveness, Dombrovskis says

The EU’s economic security, including planned outbound investment vetting, shouldn’t be regarded as a tool to level the playing field, the bloc's trade chief Valdis Dombrovskis has said.
He also said that the EU's competitiveness and the plans to limit risks to its economic security shouldn’t be confused.
