EU's DSA shouldn't waive seller ID checks for smaller marketplaces, business-consumer coalition argues

Small and medium-sized online marketplaces shouldn't be exempt from EU rules to tackle counterfeiters and rogue traders, a coalition of businesses and consumer groups are urging.

Under draft online content regulation known as the Digital Services Act, large online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay would be required to verify the identities of businesses
