EU personal pension product's initial fee cap review to be skipped over low takeup

Asset managers and pension funds are unlikely to see an EU review of the basic-level Pan-European Personal Pension product's 1 percent "fee cap" this year as has widely been expected, MLex has learned.
The exercise would be "premature" given the slow uptake of PEPP products, a European Commission spokesperson told MLex.
