EU must discuss carbon border tax with trade partners to avoid ‘chaos,’ South Korea urges

The EU must discuss its proposed import tax on polluting industrial goods with like-minded countries to prevent global “chaos” in setting climate-protection standards, South Korean Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo has urged. He stressed that Seoul is ready to engage in international talks on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.
