EU money-laundering revamp to be stewarded through EU Parliament by Green group’s Carême

EU lawmakers' scrutiny of updates to the bloc's money laundering laws will be stewarded by French politician Damien Carême of the European Parliament's Green group, MLex has learned, alongside Finnish socialist Eero Heinäluoma.

Carême, on the parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, and Heinäluoma, on its Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee, will marshal lawmakers' views,
