EU merger regulator sees spate of promotions

The European Commission's competition department has made a number of senior staffing changes among merger personnel, MLex has learned.

Daniele Calisti will be taking full charge of the unit scrutinizing industrial tie-ups. He was previously responsible for high-profile cases such as EssilorLuxoticca’s takeover of Grandvision and Novelis’s takeover of rival aluminum
