EU legislators back tougher rules for universal chargers

Electronics companies could face tougher rules on mandatory universal chargers if a committee of EU lawmakers in the European Parliament has its way.

Legislators in the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO) voted today to expand the list of devices requiring universal chargers under an update to the Radio Equipm
