EU-led WTO group to downgrade Russia’s trade status, paving way for new sanctions

A group of like-minded countries led by the EU is working on a joint declaration aimed at stripping Russia of “most-favored nation” status at the World Trade Organization, MLex has learned. The document is likely to be endorsed at a meeting of EU government leaders later this week.
