EU due-diligence law could retain 5 percent turnover penalties, latest talks suggest

Companies might yet face fines of up to 5 percent of their turnover for not adhering to the EU’s upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, MLex has learned. The latest meeting of negotiators also saw them agree to scrap directors' duties from the law.
