EU delay to in-vehicle data access regulation ‘detrimental’ to consumers, BEUC warns

Connected cars need specific EU regulation on access to in-vehicle data to protect consumers from potential misuse of personal data, anticompetitive behavior and cybersecurity risks, the European Consumer Organization has warned the European Commission.
