EU Commission to boost wind-ups for failing small and mid-sized banks in proposals next week

The European Commission is set to propose changes to the EU's bank crisis management regime to make managed wind-ups a more viable option for failing small and medium-sized banks, and to make national decisions around how to manage failing banks more consistent, according to drafts seen by MLex.
