EU banks’ green bonds may breach capital rules, EBA warns ahead of new Brussels law

EU banks’ green bonds must be consistent with capital-requirement laws, the European Banking Authority has warned — just two weeks before the European Commission intends to publish its own laws to encourage the environment-focused debt instruments.
