EssilorLuxottica-GrandVision deal draws concerns from opticians in Brazil

Opticians in Brazil said EssilorLuxottica's purchase of Dutch eyewear retailer GrandVision would harm competition in the retail market for optical products and services.

The majority of companies contacted by the Brazilian antitrust regulator predicted adverse impacts if the transaction is completed.
