Eni caught by claims of undue influence over judges in Milan corruption trial

Italian oil giant Eni is embroiled in a row over claims that its lawyers may have influenced judges who last week acquitted it and Royal Dutch Shell of corruption over a Nigerian oil deal, and faced a resurfacing of allegations that it sought to intimidate prosecutors on the case.
