Energy companies to see 40 percent renewables-use target for 2030, draft EU proposal says

EU energy companies face bloc-wide targets of between 38 percent and 40 percent use of renewable energy sources by 2030, according to a draft European Commission proposal seen by MLex.
The revamp won’t introduce national binding targets, the draft suggests, meaning that the goal will remain binding at EU level
