Dutch privacy watchdog has 11 in-depth probes pending

Some 11 Dutch privacy investigations are awaiting a decision after being flagged for an in-depth probe, the country’s data-protection authority has said in its 2019 annual report published today.

These “complicated cases” arose from audits to check businesses’ compliance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens said.
