DOJ timeline of car-emissions probe's closing disputed by agency whistleblower

The US Department of Justice’s timeline of an investigation into four automakers for striking agreements on car emissions standards with California was disputed in written testimony from an agency whistleblower made public today.

In a letter to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse last week, the DOJ said it closed the probe into Ford, BMW, Volkswagen
