Discovery-Polsat JV deal hits EU regulatory headwinds

An offer by Discovery Communications Europe and Cyfrowy Polsat to amend their streaming joint venture in a bid to win EU approval isn't being market-tested by the bloc's antitrust regulator, MLex has learned, indicating the case is headed for an in-depth probe or referral to the Polish competition authority.
