Device makers should see EU's universal-charger proposal by summer, Breton says

Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Philips and other makers of electronic devices should soon see new EU requirements to make their products compatible with a universal charger, with a legislative proposal expected “by the summer,” according to Thierry Breton, the bloc's internal market commissioner.
