Deutsche Telekom-Meta dispute over network fees to be transferred to German antitrust court

A legal dispute between Deutsche Telekom and Facebook-owner Meta Platforms over the payment of fees for data traffic will be transferred from a court in Bonn to a specialized court in Cologne with expertise in antitrust matters, MLex has learned.

Matthew Newman is a chief correspondent for MLex and writes about data protection, privacy, telecoms, cyber security and artificial intelligence. Matthew began his journalism career in 1991 in community newspapers. He worked as a reporter in Riga, Latvia in 1993 and then moved to Chicago where he covered local news.
