Denso Corp., Brazilian subsidiary acquitted in spark plug cartel probe

Denso Corp. and Brazilian subsidiary Denso do Brasil have been acquitted in a price-fixing cartel in the Brazilian market of spark plugs for cars.

The Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, also closed the probe of Thomas Schmidt, NGK Spark Plug's former manager, due to lack of evidence.
