Data services providers’ ‘security issues’ warrant deterrence, UK privacy watchdog says

The UK data regulator identified “a pattern of central providers having security issues” in the healthcare sector with consequences for patients, a senior official said when arguing internally in favor of publicizing a provisional decision to fine a UK company.
