Critical raw materials projects outside EU to face a minimum 40 percent European ownership rule

Strategic projects abroad under the EU’s upcoming Critical Raw Materials Act could face a minimum European ownership requirement, MLex has learned.
Lawmakers agreed on a 40 percent threshold, which will be included in next week’s European Parliament vote. The percentage might still change when interinstitutional talks start next month.
