CP-Tesco merger deal may not yet be in the clear despite Thai approval

Charoen Pokphand’s $10.6 billion takeover of Tesco’s Southeast Asian businesses is not a done deal yet, despite receiving conditional clearance from Thailand’s antitrust regulator in a decision that appears to be dividing the antitrust community. 
The conglomerate’s retail unit is “in the process of considering and reviewing” the seven conditions
