Corporate compliance programs must be risk-based to be effective, DOJ says

The US Justice Department will evaluate whether the compliance programs of corporations facing criminal investigations or prosecutions are designed to identify and prevent the types of bribery and fraud that are most likely to occur for those companies or their industries.
