Controversial UK data reform bill likely to be junked in election scramble

The UK's expansive data reform proposal is expected to be junked as the government and the main opposition party haven't agreed on pushing the bill through in the current parliament, MLex understands. There are only two business days left after yesterday's snap announcement of a general election on July 4.
