Complaint against CADE over low fines in cartel settlements should be accepted, Brazilian court unit says

In a confidential opinion issued Aug. 19 and seen by MLex, the technical unit of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts, or TCU, recommended that Judge Augusto Sherman accept a complaint by a prosecutor over the allegedly low payments the national competition authority has sought from companies in cartel settlements.
