Clearer criteria on Brazilian data-privacy violations needed, associations, experts say

The definition of a data-privacy violation needs to be clearer when the Brazilian data protection agency hands out sanctions, said participants in a public hearing.
The National Data Protection Authority, or ANPD, has been working on a resolution that regulates data-privacy sanctions, including how the agency will calculate its fines.
