Chubu Electric, Toho Gas raided again by Japan regulator for suspected gas, electricity cartel

Chubu Electric Power, its subsidiary Chubu Electric Power Miraiz and Toho Gas were today raided again by the Japan Fair Trade Commission, or JFTC,  on suspicion of collusion. As a result of the second raid, the competition enforcer’s probe into the Nagoya-based utilities has expanded from a suspected cartel impacting general consumers
