China to ban algorithm-based price discrimination in personal data law

The latest draft of the Personal Information Protection Law will prohibit discrimination in transaction conditions such as pricing using decision-making based on algorithms or Big Data analysis, an official said.
The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress will conduct the third review of the draft Personal Information Protection Law
