China's SAMR mulls entrusting merger reviews beyond Shanghai

China's antitrust authority is actively considering entrusting merger-control work to local arms other than the proposed pilot city of Shanghai, in a move that could further relieve the burden on the state-level agency in scrutinizing deals, MLex has learned.
