China's II-VI, Coherent clearance throws light on multi-sourcing remedy

China's antitrust regulator has given much weight to a remedy requiring II-VI to continue to source from multiple suppliers for certain optical components, in clearing the US manufacturer's takeover of laser supplier Coherent.
