Children's-privacy suit against Google revived by US Ninth Circuit

A privacy lawsuit against Google was revived today when the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act’s preemption clause doesn't block complementary state laws, and that state laws can indeed bolster the federal law.
