Changes to South Korean data-protection regime get parliamentary nod, EU adequacy talks to resume

Revisions to South Korea's privacy laws were approved by the country's parliament on Thursday.

South Korean lawmakers decided to green-light the amendments to the Personal Information Protection Act, the Credit Information Protection Act and the Network Utilization and Information Protection Act during the plenary session of the National Assembly late in the evening
