Centauro-Nike sports product deal faces in-depth review in Brazil

The planned acquisition by SBF, which owns sports brand Centauro, of most of Nike’s local assets in Brazil has been declared "complex" by the country’s competition authority and will require an in-depth analysis of the deal — specifically whether it could close the market for the distribution of sports products.
